Our research focuses on understanding how proteins work in the cell by studying the intricate relationships that exist between protein function and structure. We are also interested in communication networks both within and between proteins and between proteins and other biological entities (genes, and other molecules). We develop methods and tools to understand these relationships and to attempt to predict new relationships from large scale data sets, such as microarray data and large scale proteomics data.
