Assistantships
  • Teaching Assistantships

With a TA position, a graduate student may be responsible for such tasks as teaching lab sections, grading assignments and tests, holding office hours, and giving lectures if the primary faculty member is unavailable. The introductory CSC courses - CSC 101, CSC 111, and CSC 112 - are the principal TA course assignments.
  • Information Systems Assistantships
An Information Systems (IS) assistantship provides the student the ability to work with the Information Systems department at Wake Forest University. Typical roles involve software design, software implementation, software testing, R&D, and system administration.

  • Research Assistantships
Graduate students, particularly second-years, may be funded to do research, contingent on the availability of funding from faculty in the department.

  • Summer Funding
A competitive process for summer research funding is held each Spring.
