Course Objectives

·       To enhance the programming and problem-solving skills of students who already have some experience with high-level programming languages.

·       To help students become proficient users of the UNIX operating system.

·       To give students experience in designing, writing, debugging, and documenting more complex programs than they have written previously.

·       To provide programming experience with strings and file I/O.

·       To introduce the data structures of arrays and pointer-based structures like linked lists. 

·       To give students an understanding of the basic concepts of structured and object-oriented programming.
